God has blessed Living Water Church with 48 years of faithful ministry — and in this season, He is preparing us to shine brighter and reach further than ever before.

GOD PLANTED THIS CHURCH TO SHINE

Living Water was not planted in Riverhead by accident

God strategically placed this church here to be a light on Long Island’s East End

There have been seasons of growth, seasons of struggle, seasons of building and seasons of rebuilding — through it all God has kept this house standing

I want you to know that God never forgets faithful churches, faithful pastors, faithful servants or faithful members.

Declaration — “Living Water, we may have walked through some long nights — but God says our light is still shining.”

“Those who are wise shall shine…”

We haven’t lasted for 48 years by accident, that’s because wisdom built this house.

This ministry was built on wisdom, prayer, and obedience

• Not on trends
• Not on popularity
• But on faithfulness to God’s Word

God has given us His grace and has enabled us to thrive in order to

• Stay steady when seasons changed
• Preach the truth when it wasn’t easy
• Trust Him through transitions and challenges

God has continued to fulfill a word He gave to me in 1980, when He told me that He would give me wisdom beyond my years. Wisdom comes by honoring and respecting the Lord.

Proverbs 9:10 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure.

We are still here because wisdom built this house — and God is still giving us wisdom.

James 1:5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

We don’t know every name that’s been touched but heaven does.

We’ve seen

• Souls saved at this altar
• Marriages restored
• Children dedicated and raised in faith
• Baptisms celebrated
• Worship lifted in every season
• Outreaches to our community and worldwide
• Prayer meetings that have carried this Church

All of that happens because

• Volunteers kept on serving even when they were weary
• Prayer warriors keep praying even when answers seemed slow
• People faithfully gave even when finances were low
• Leaders stayed the course, even through the storms

There are people walking the streets of heaven today because Living Water stayed faithful.

Daniel 12:3 Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.

Here’s a truth – God will let a church go through night seasons before He brings greater light

I believe that now is

• A season of strengthening
• A season of refocusing
• A season of freedom
• A season of fresh vision
• A season of new souls
• A season of growth both spiritually and physically

• Keep serving — your faithfulness is building the future
• Keep praying — revival is always born in prayer
• Keep inviting — Riverhead still needs Jesus
• Keep believing — God is not finished with this house

We may not always shine in the headlines — but heaven says Living Water will shine forever and ever.

Lord, thank You for every year of our 48 years, thank you for every prayer, every tear, every soul touched through Living Water Church. Thank you for our founders and leaders. Help us live wisely, love boldly, and lead many more in Riverhead and Long Island’s East End to righteousness. Let this house shine now and forever for Your glory. Amen.
