LOST SHEEP MINISTRY

                  Admit you’ve Sinned

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory [a]which God bestows and receives.– Romans 3:23 AMPC.

As it is written and forever remains written, “There is none righteous [none that meets God’s standard], not even one. Romans 3:10 AMP.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.– Romans 6:23 ASV.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful, forgives us our sins, and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9 NKJV.

For whoever keeps the whole Law but stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of [breaking] all of it. James 2:10 AMP.

It is challenging to admit that we are wrong. God has shown love toward us, we believe we are essentially good, and we would like to suppose we are by no means as bad as some. The reality is we are all sinners and can by no means be suitable ample to earn our way to heaven. God’s Word, the Bible, indeed states that all have sinned (done matters that are incorrect and towards God. God is holy and just. Sins are opposed to God deserve a consequence or punishment. The Word of God declares that the wages or payment for sin is death—eternal demise in hell. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23. However, God wants to extend a rescue plan!

LOST SHEEP MINISTRY

Jesus and John the Baptist started preaching with the word ‘Repent.’ “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – The word repent means ‘change one’s mind’ or to turn—to go in another direction. How can we be led to repentance? The First step towards repentance is genuine sorrow for what we’ve done wrong. “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” Our sorrow should make us feel upset as a criminal who’s been caught, whereas godly sorrow is the deep remorse or conviction that produces a change in direction. Have you ever felt judged after doing something wrong? The Bible states that the Holy Spirit is the one that convicts us of our sin. John 16:7-8 Matthew 4:17 NKJV 2 Corinthians 7:10

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.- John 3:16-17 NKJV.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the [a]gospel. Mark1:15 ASV .

Then Apostle Paul proclaimed, And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, continually telling the people that they should believe in the One Who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus [having a conviction full of joyful trust that He is Christ, the Messiah, and being obedient to Him]. Acts 19:4 AMPC.

Word declares, "And they answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus [as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him], and you will be saved, you and your household [if they also believe]."– Acts16:31 AMP.

And this is his commandment, that we should [a]believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment. -1 John 3:23 ASV.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV.

             Believe in Jesus Christ

LOST SHEEP MINISTRY

Salvation is not complicated. "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." – children place trust (faith) in their father's strength. Similarly, we entrust our lives to Jesus Christ-believing in him and his completed work on the cross. This is how the apostle Paul defined the gospel message (good news).—"For I delivered to you First of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures Jesus Christ, the perfect, sinless lamb of God, laid down His life and took the penalty meant for us, dying in our place Isaiah 53:6. He paid the debt we could not pay and redeemed us(repurchased us) from the power of sin and death. John 1:29 / Galatians 3:13 / Romans 3:25.

             Confess Christ to World

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God). He confesses with the mouth (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. Romans 10:9-10 AMPC.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16 NKJV.

God demonstrates his unconditional love for his creation by sending his only son to die on our behalf. He ordered us free gifts-salvation, the forgiveness of sins, eternal life with him in heaven. But we must receive this gift.We must confess our sins, and we must admit (or declare) our belief in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. To acknowledge in our mouth requires an outward public act, not a personal, secret shy devotion. The apostle Paul courageously proclaimed his faith so that others could hear and be saved. God'splan of salvation is freely available to all.1 John 1: 9.

New Saint James Missionary Baptist Church of Saint Augustine values our associations and wants to develop partnerships by growing nearer to God. This thought would not be conceivable without God's amazing grace. We display unconditional Love toward the sinner, not casting them out. We accept that life is better when we live with Christ at the focal point of all that we do. Our overall goal is to make disciples of humanity by leading individuals into a genuine, extraordinary, and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. However, through the aid of the Holy Spirit, we desire to be more like Christ and less like the world. At the same time, we are endeavoring to become effective believers that walk in Jesus Authority and Power, making disciples of all humanity. Jesus calls us to IMPACT the world by introducing Jesus to all we encounter. We desire to lead individuals into a genuine, extraordinary, and everlasting life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus calls for us to go outside the church's physical walls to compel the lost and the brokenhearted. Jesus teaches us how to utilize salvation and a place in Jesus Christ, who died to repurchase us from sin and death. Remember Jesus recovered us to become valuable assets in his Kingdom.
