At the window of my house
I looked out through the lattice
I saw among the simple men
A youth who lacked judgment
He was going down the street near her corner
Walking along in the direction of her house

Out came a woman to meet him
Dressed like a prostitute
She was loud and defiant
With crafty intent
In the streets and in the squares she lurks in corners
Waiting to pray upon a simple man

She catches and she kisses him 
With a hard impudent face

ABOUT THE SONG

From Proverbs Chapter 7,

this song, Track 1, from the "Say to Wisdom" Collection by Likeabirdinatree / Raven Rain, is all about prostitution / idolatry and the choice that you and I need to make.

You will either be in favour of WISDOM, and call her your sister, or you will both spiritually and in the flesh, choose the prostitute, which holds out a very similar cup. She offers to satisfy, but proverbs 7 says, she will actually lead you like an ox to your slaughter. Watch out wisdom says, for you will not see it coming!

Think of the wise and foolish virgins! How little time there is left to make the right decisions!
