“We will rejoice” is one of my personal favourites. A song that looks forward to the return of our saviour. A time when He will make all things good again. A time when we, His people, will be united, and no longer scattered on a dark and cloudy day. A time when all injustice and wickedness will give way to the lasting peace of His Millennial Kingdom. In the meantime, it encourages us to raise His banner, and allow Him, in the giving of His Holy Spirit, to fulfill his stated new covenant purpose. (Jer 31: 31-33) He has at very least begun the process of writing His law upon our hearts. So that, as He is, so are we in this world. We now have the high calling of manifesting His way, His truth and His life in the world, as we practice righteousness. His righteousness. So let us love one another, as He has loved us. For our Father is love. And in all of His commandments, He shows us what manner of man we are. That as Yeshua kept His Fathers commandments, so we might also walk, just as He walked. A light in the darkness. HalleluYah.
