Ever felt inadequate to praise and worship such a worthy God? How can I extol you, is such a song. I have wanted to release this song for so long, because I love what it tries to express. Pure delight in our Father and Saviour.  Written around 2013, the basic guitar and vocal track was recorded in some office space! Having discovered the old track, now with better musical software and a younger stronger voice then, I decided to try to fix it. I am now excited to be able to share this song, that I really love so much, with all of you.

Having said all this, I would like to share a little about what praise and worship really is to me and what I mean by "You mean everything!".

We worship Him when we do what He wants us to do. For the most part, he said to us that the whole duty of man, is to keep His commandments. Yeshua kept them, or He would not have been able to save us. He is now inside us to do his good pleasure. Even to will it. Believing this is our work. Faith is shown in our actions.

Yeshua gave Him everything, even His body to the cross.

The least we can do is give him the fruit of our lips, together with obedient, circumsized hearts, so that we worship Him in the Spirit of Holiness.

We are certainly inadequate, but we can hunger and thirst for righteousness, and trust Him enough to practice righteousness by faith. We can only do this by  the power of His Spirit within us. This is what he did for us at Shavuot/Pentecost. We are not asked to count to 50 / Jubilee for nothing. What a gift the Spirit of our Messiah in us is! It makes Cain, Able!

Every good gift comes from Him. Our life partners, our food, every flower, tree, bird, mountain, river or sea that we delight in. Nothing that is wholesome and good does not come from Him! 

When we sin, we rob Him of the joy that He should have in us. We step outside of the worship and praise and even fear that He is due. Therefore let us hunger and thirst for His gift of His righteousness in Yeshua, that is more than positional. May we delight in Him and He in us, so that we read the whole book to discover all His heart. Then we can be One, undivided in Him, obedient by faith to the nature of Messiah inside us. This is true worship and this is in a nutshell, what He means to me and I hope to you also.
